How to fix a dent in a car without damaging the paint

First this will olny work on very small dents like hail dents .This is how the famous dent Doctor does it you heat the metal with a heat gun set on low or a hairdryer will work not to hot or will blister the paint. Get hot enough where you can still touch it with out getting burnt then when it hot put a patch of dry ice or regular ice on the dent and the rapid cooling will pull the dent out and thats it Another way to do it for bigger dents is to remove insde pannels to get to where the dent is and use a candell and rubber hammer to knock the dent right out hope this helps yall
